ORMA · press as part of the gluing process

ORMA manufactures presses for wood processing. In hot pressing, the sheet format, pressure, temperature, adhesive and time must be matched. NPC/A is an automated version with loading, moving workpieces through the press and unloading.

Depending on the project, a glue applicator, transport sections and positioning can be included. Sheet size and workflow determine the configuration; a single press does not replace surface preparation and correct adhesive application.

ORMA develops equipment for wood bonding and surface covering. Selection starts with the product, material and adhesive before defining the press configuration.

Hot pressing · NPC family

Heated platens combine pressure with heat. Workpiece size, pressing pressure, temperature and time must suit the adhesive. NPC is a family of configurations; equipment and automation are specified for each project.

Cold pressing · PFL, PFH and HL

For bonding processes without heating the press platens. Curing time depends on the adhesive and process conditions, so required capacity and loading arrangements need to be considered together.

Covering shaped surfaces

The membrane and membrane-free press range includes systems for covering shaped panels. Film or veneer, workpiece geometry and machine configuration determine the choice; not every machine suits every material.

What information helps us select a press?

Send the maximum product dimensions and thickness, substrate and covering materials, adhesive and required number of pieces or batches. Include available space and heating supply. We can then assess loading, unloading and integration into your process.
